ABOUT ME
I have been creating jewelry since the early 1970s, when I started exploring beading as a high school student in Albuquerque, N.M.
In the 1980s I spent 10 years sailing, working, and exploring the islands of the South Pacific. Much of my work is influenced by the rich cultures of that area, as well as my love of the sea.
After moving to Lopez Island in 1990 I learned the techniques of silversmithing from several local artists. Recently I have begun to experiment with a Korean gold-on-silver process, known as Keum-bu, along with etching and roll printing metals.
